Here we are again – Christmas is just around the corner! Below is your essential guide to IPS UK operations over the festive period. Whether you're placing orders or managing stock, please bookmark this page and check back regularly for any carrier specific updates as we approach year-end.
For any urgent orders, clarity is crucial. Please mark ***URGENT*** (including asterisks) in your email subject line and clearly state any time-critical requirements. To meet Christmas delivery deadlines, we must receive these orders well in advance of the cut-off dates listed below.
Following IPS UK delivery specifications, all stock must arrive with sufficient lead time ahead of the order deadlines below. We require titles to be booked in at least five working days prior to both international and UK last order dates. Late-arriving stock cannot be guaranteed for dispatch.
International Courier Orders: Wednesday 10th December, 2025
Important: We cannot control closures at third-party freight forwarders or international shipping partners, which may affect final destination delivery times.
UK Courier Orders: Friday 12th December, 2025
Postal Services (UK & International): Submit as early as possible. Without tracking capabilities, we cannot guarantee Christmas arrival.
These deadlines serve as guidance rather than guarantees. Orders received after these dates have minimal chance of Christmas delivery. We strongly recommend submitting orders at the earliest opportunity.
Our offices and warehouse operate on all days that are not UK Bank Holidays (full list available here).
Many UK courier services and parcel hubs shut down during the Christmas and New Year period. Packages not delivered by late December may be held until early January. This is beyond our control, and we cannot guarantee order processing between 23rd December and 6th January.
